How To Be In That Number

It is not commonly understood that there are to be two groups snatched out from among the living on earth. They will be separated in time by 3 1/2 years. The first group is biblically referred to as "the firstfruits unto God and the Lamb". You may read about the special qualification in Rev. 14:4-5. Yet there is so much more than that required which so few have understood, principally because our clergy have not been taught to preach that way. Here we shall briefly survey that which the multitudes have never understood. Not only does this apply to that special number of whom the Bible speaks as "the bride of Christ", but it also applies to that vastly greater multitude who shall be taken out 3 1/2 years later, "having come out of the great tribulation and having washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Rev. 7: 9, 14)

NISAN 10: THE BEGINNING OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION

The total time of the Great Tribulation spoken of in Scripture is 1260 days. The 70th week of Daniel has already fulfilled in Jesus but will see a symbolic fulfillment as well. If you recognize the fact that the 7th Trumpet makes its final blast on the Day of Trumpets you should also be aware that the 1260 days of the Great Tribulation began on the 10th day of Nisan, 3 and 1/2 years earlier. What is the importance of the 10th day of Nisan?

WHAT IS BABYLON?

The question we must each individually ask is what is Babylon? Is there some way we can each apply the concept of Babylon to our own walk with the Lord?

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Rev. 18:4,5.

THE FOUR RIDERS

Few - if any - of the Bible prophecies have been dealt with so extensively as has the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. If mere words and beautiful books constitute the all-sufficient treatment of a subject, then assuredly this Article is superfluous. ... Yet the hour is at hand, even late, that something much more than mere volumes of words should be made available, for as yet the human mind is held in darkness by half-truth doctrines conceived in the lurid light of man's night in spiritual waywardness. Although so-called "new books" can be found on the subject, they are mostly - if not all - rehashing of time-worn ideas out of the stygian night. Perhaps, then, as we look afresh at the record of history, and with a prayer for understanding in our heart, we shall glimpse treasures new that our soul may rejoice, and take fresh courage to victoriously walk the last steps of our earth's war-seared mile.

DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK

Daniel's 70th week is perhaps one of the most misunderstood prophecies in Scripture. Our contention is that verses 24 - 27 of the 9th chapter have been fulfilled in Jesus. These verses are in fact a specific Messianic prophecy given in person by Gabriel to Daniel.

TEN POINTS TO PONDER

Here's an example. #8

3 1/2 years after the Tishri date in the year 2000, on the 10th of Nisan, March 30/31, 2004, the Bride of Christ, the 144,000 of Rev. 14:1-5, will be "caught up" to Jesus. See Joshua 4:19. 1260 days from the 10th of Nisan in any year takes you to the Day of Trumpets, 3 1/2 years later. (Remember this is if September 28th, 2000 marked the begining of the last seven years).

The Last 7 Years: Are We Already There?

We are at the End of the Age which will be concluded by the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the dismantling of the present world system by means of the Great Tribulation. Christians do not have to be in darkness for Jesus has foretold the signs, many of which have seen unprecedented fulfillment in the 20th century: warfare, disease, famine, natural disasters and signs in the heavens/space (e.g., modern space exploration and comets). Jesus spoke of all these things in Matthew 24. The love of many has grown cold in this time of unbridled selfishness leading to violence, fear, broken families and moral decay (Matt 24:12, 2 Tim 3:1-5).

THE DAY AFTER (Christ Calls)

Lackadaisical Sunday was over for the Doowells who had leisurely picnicked near the beach. Enjoying their breakfast coffee with the usual smokes, Mary remarked to Philip, "peculiar that I don't see Martha out tending her flowers this morning! Never does she fail - weather permitting. So frequently she has spoken about enjoying her flowers in the morning sunshine, saying they are so much like true Christians who ever turn their face towards Christ their Lord. So often I have seen her reading and then stealing an admiring gaze at the beauty of her blooms. I hope she is well; she ever appears so spry for her age."
